Firehouse Subs K-9 Crew Plushies: Price, Release Date And The Real Dogs

Firehouse Subs is selling something other than subs next week. The K-9 Crew plushies are three stuffed dogs based on real working dogs, and they go on sale Wednesday, October 28, 2026, for $9.95 each. Most of that money goes to first responders. Here’s the price, how to get one, the real dogs behind them and the one-day Hook & Ladder fundraiser happening the same day.

Meet The Real Dogs Behind The K-9 Crew

Each plushie is modeled on a real dog that works in public safety.

K-9 Stone (Golden Retriever)

Stone is a search-and-rescue dog. Firehouse says he has responded to major disasters around the country, including the Surfside condominium collapse in Florida.

K-9 Ember (Dalmatian)

Ember works with the Sevierville Fire Department in Tennessee as a station ambassador and helps teach fire safety in the community.

K-9 Echo (German Shepherd)

Echo joined the Sartell Police Department in Minnesota in 2023, and he got there because of a Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant. The department hadn’t had a K-9 unit in years. St. Cloud Live reported the grant at $16,620, which covered the dog, training and supplies. Echo tracks missing people and detects threats, and the Foundation’s own story on Echo follows him and his handler on the job.

How To Buy A K-9 Crew Plushie

  • Go in person. The plushies are sold in restaurants only.
  • Not in the app. Firehouse says they aren’t available on Firehouse Rewards digital orders.
  • Not on delivery apps. DoorDash, Uber Eats and other third-party apps won’t have them.
  • Go early. It’s while supplies last, and not every location is taking part.

If you want to check whether your store is participating, call ahead. The firehouse subs app is still handy for finding the closest location and its phone number.

Where The Money Goes

Firehouse says 100% of net profits from the plushies go to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The fine print puts that at $6.16 from every $9.95 plushie, not counting tax. That’s about 62% of the price.

Donut chart of the 9.95 dollar Firehouse K-9 Crew plushie price: 6.16 dollars, about 62 percent, goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and 3.79 dollars is the rest of the price

The Foundation started in 2005 and has given more than $112 million in equipment and resources to first responders and public safety groups in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Grants like the one that brought Echo to Sartell are exactly what it pays for. Our guide to firehouse subs grants explains how departments apply.

The Hook & Ladder Fundraiser On October 28

Firehouse is running a second fundraiser on the same day. On October 28, 2026 only, 100% of the price of every Hook & Ladder sub (before tax) goes to the Foundation.
