Firehouse Veggie Recipe

The following is the recipe for the Firehouse Veggie:

  • Prep Time: 20 Minutes
  • Cook time: 10 Minutes
  • Total Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients 

  • Shredded Romaine Lettuce 
  • Sliced Tomatoes
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions
  • Green Bell Peppers 
  • Monterey Jack Cheese slice  
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese 
  • Provolone Cheese Slice
  • Sub Roll 

Recipe

  • Wash all of the veggies with lukewarm water.
  • Shred the romaine lettuce and slice the mushrooms, tomatoes, and bell peppers.
  • Saute the onions in a pan with medium heat. 
  • Put the sub roll on a cast iron skillet with low heat and let it warm for 3-5 minutes.
  • Now slice the sub roll in half to add the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. 
  • Add Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and Provolone cheese layers to the veggies. 
  • Put the sub roll on heat for 1 minute to let the cheeses melt. 
  • Now close the sub and cut it in half to enjoy.
