The following is the recipe for the Firehouse Sweet & Spicy Meatball Sub: 

• Prep Time: 10 Minutes
• Cook Time: 10 Minutes
• Total Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients

• 1 sub roll
• 4-5 meatballs (about 4 oz)
• 1/2 cup marinara sauce
• 1 tbsp sweet and spicy sauce (or chili sauce)
• 2 slices provolone cheese
• 1 tbsp pepper jack cheese (optional)
• 3-4 slices red onion
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tbsp olive oil 

Making Process

• Take an 8 inch sub roll and lightly toast it in a cast iron skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes.
• Heat a sauce pan and pour marinara and the sweet & spicy sauce.
• Now add the meatballs in the sauce mixture to cook for 5–7 minutes over medium heat. 
• Now layer the toasted sub roll with provolone cheese, onions, salt, pepper, and the sauce infused meatballs to assemble your Firehouse Subs sweet & spicy meatball sub.
